Your project has expired.

We're really sorry to share that your LEGO® Ideas project didn't reach its supporter milestone before running out of time. Here at LEGO Ideas, we know you had high hopes for your project and put a lot of effort into it, and we understand this can be disappointing. If you still care a lot about this particular project, you're always welcome to submit it again and start over.

We hope you continue submitting projects and hope you have better success next time!

Congratulations on 100 supporters! You've earned an extra 365 days.

You've passed the first milestone and reached 100 supporters within the first 60 days. As a reward, here's a boost of one year (365 days) to reach 1,000 supporters. Best of luck as you continue to rally support for your project.

Oh no! Your project was not approved.

We reviewed your project submission and unfortunately it does not fit the LEGO® Ideas mold.

Your recent project submission has been judged to contain more than 3,000 LEGO bricks. Our Project Guidelines and House Rules state that projects may have a maximum piece count of 3,000 LEGO bricks. While we can’t count the pieces in your photos, if your model looks too big we’ll send it back and ask you to make it smaller at our own discretion.

Therefore, if possible, please scale down the size of  your LEGO model and resubmit it.

If you built your model in LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) and still feel that your model is below the 3,000 brick limit then you're welcome to send us your LDD file for verification by replying to this email. Please do not upload screenshots of your LDD file/brick count to your submission itself.

Oh no! Your project was not approved. Here is what you can do.

We reviewed your project submission and unfortunately it does not fit the LEGO® Ideas mold; it contains content or themes not appropriate for a potential LEGO product.

Per our Guidelines and House Rules, we won’t approve projects related to these topics:

  • Politics and political symbols, campaigns, or movements
  • Warfare or war vehicles in any modern or present-day situation, or national war memorials

Some third-party properties feature iconic characters, buildings, vehicles, or visual styles. If the LEGO Group deems a property inappropriate for LEGO Ideas, we also may not allow these iconic elements even if all references to the property are removed.

We decide how a project fits these standards at our discretion. If possible, you are welcome to remove the inappropriate content/themes and submit your project again. To make the process easier, please see the Acceptable Project Content section of the Project Guidelines and House Rules.

If you’re not able to remove the content from your project, you can still share your creation with the world on photo sharing sites like Flickr.

Your project needs work before we approve it.

Thanks for sharing your LEGO idea with us! Unfortunately your project doesn't meet our Quality Standards, so we hope you give it your best effort to make it better.

Check out this video for project quality tips and carefully read and fix the items we mention below. If you follow our Guidelines and suggestions below before re-submitting, we’re more likely to publish your project and you can start gathering supporters.

Before you re-submit your project, please fix the things we mention below. If you re-submit without meeting our Quality Standards, we'll send it back to you again.

  • Please submit better digital images. We don't accept digitally edited photos or images images with jagged, pixilated, or blurry edge lines cropping or compositing. Any text overlays need to be clear and easy to read.
  • Please choose a more appropriate LDD background for your model.

Unfortunately we can't give you more personalized advice because we receive so many submissions. To see the level of quality we're looking for, check out the most supported projects or the past Staff Picks for inspiration.

Oh no! Your project was returned for revisions. Here’s what you can do.

We reviewed your project submission and unfortunately it does not fit the LEGO® Ideas mold.

LEGO Ideas accepts your proposals for single, stand-alone LEGO products (sets), and not playthemes or series. Projects may also only reference one third party licenses per project, i.e. Ferrari, but not both Ferrari and Porsche.

We hope you can re-work your project so that it recommends one LEGO set as a potential product, and submit it to us again.

For further information on what projects can be approved, see our Project Guidelines and House Rules.

We look forward to seeing your finished project!
