Fontana dei Leoni

Here you can find the second one my creation about monuments of Rome. The "Fontana dei Leoni" is located in the middle of "Piazza del Popolo" with Egyptian obelisk. As the obelisk the four lions on the corners  have Egyptian style on the top of for pyramids.  The fountain was built to replace another fountain in order to renew all the square around on 1820. This is not the only one fountain in "Piazza del Popolo", there are others two fountains, fountain of Neptune and of "Dea Roma".  This creation is very simple built with about 500 bricks.
