'Sally' UV Light Scorpion

G'day from Australia.

This is my first submission to Ideas, it is my MOC of a Scorpion.

I built it completely from scratch as I like to freebuild without the use of LDD or Studi.o. I prefer to do this as I love the "hands on" feel of building.

This particular build took me a few hours to get the look right and scale as close as I can, 

I wanted to build a large scale creature for an upcoming LUG event that the SBLUG, (Southern Bricks, South Australia) will be hosting in July 2020 called Brixpo

We will be having a "Glow Zone" which will feature UV lights inside a walk through marquee and I thought, "A scorpion glows naturally under UV" ……… so I built one.

**UPDATE** : Due to the current global crisis, this event has now been cancelled :( 

I believe this will make a great set as it will encourage others to think outside the box when it comes to animal builds. Using only the 1 colour for the external body, it helps with the glow effect.
