Behold the great dragon rider Eragon and his bonded dragon partner Saphira. Included is Eragon and a large model dragon Saphira. This dragon is highly posable. It has a long multi jointed tail that can be swished around. It also has possible arms and legs with elbow, knee, and wrist joints. The wings can fold in on themselves and can be rotated various ways. The dragon can also open and close its enormous jaw to show its long rows of sharp teeth. Also included is a saddle that has storage space for some very important items from the books.

This set idea comes form the Inheritance cycle which is a book series written by Christopher Paolini in the 2000's. This series is my favorite medieval fantasy series because of Paolini's excellent character writing. I wanted to make a set on this series after I finished rereading it. I figured I'd design a set and share it with anyone else who may be a fan of both lego and the Inheritance cycle book series, or those who are just fans of dragons.

This series was extremely popular when it came out and it introduced many readers to the world of fantasy books. The series is filled with magic, dragons, and plenty of adventure. It is currently being adapted into a T.V. show which will certainly revitalize the enjoyment people once had in this series. A set showcasing the two main characters would be a great representation of the series as a whole. A lego dragon has not been done at such a scale with such detail, but a lego dragon of this size would be the only fitting representation of the great dragon Saphira.
