The Legend of Korra | Beginnings

This Project is a proposal to create a LEGO set based on Season 2, Episode 7 & 8 (Book Two: Spirits | Beginnings Part 1 & 2) of the animated television series "The Legend of Korra" by Nickelodeon. This set idea contains a minifigure and two models made out of bricks, one of them is Raava, the spirit of light and peace, she is white and has a light blue pattern on the front of her body. The other one is Vaatu, the spirit of chaos and darkness, he is black and has a red pattern on the front of his body. The minifigure is Avatar Wan, the first Avatar, he is holding a tea pod which he used to carry a weakened Raava.

I made this project because i've always been a huge LEGO and Avatar fan, so combining these two things felt like the right thing to do. Earlier this year I rewatched Beginnings Part 1 and 2, i really enjoyed it, I loved the visuals and the story, I remember thinking "This would make a beautiful LEGO Set". Then a couple of weeks later I decided to recreate Raava, Vaatu and Avatar Wan in Studio and here we are.

I think Beginnings would make a great LEGO Set because it's all about the hero's journey and the neverending battle between good and evil, it's a theme everyone can relate to. Furthermore Avatar has been rising in popularity over the last few years so there are a lot of people who will be interested in buying this kind of set.
