Tonight on the Muppet Show: The Swedish Chef!
The model shows the kitchen of the Swedish Chef as seen in season 2 of The Muppet Show. In the front there is a kitchen table with a checkered table cloth. The chicken is being chased by the chef for today’s fantastic dish. The tomato is closely observing the scene. ...It might be next.
In the background the large red oven and an exhaust hood serve as central pieces, flanked by various shelves. The setting is complete with two old-fashioned kitchen cupboards on the sides.
It consists of about 280 parts.
The Swedish Chef is one of the funniest characters of the show and this is why I think he deserves this model as a natural habitat for his brilliant cooking. (The chicken may have a different opinion on that!)
There have been various Muppet kitchens on the show. However, this model captures the old-fashioned charm that unites them all. Also, it doesn’t require too much space and is a nice little display model.
