Can two of the world`s greatest detectives discover who stole the Countess`s ruby? Can the jewel thief escape justice on the Orient Express? Can Hercule Poirot apprehend the crook of a chef who gave him pie instead of steak?

Orient Express Adventures would make a great Lego set because it includes a famous, highly detailed and never-built-before-in-Lego train with lots of playability ,minifigures and colour.

I built Orient Express Adventures because I have never before tried building a Lego train MOC with bricks or using LDD. Having seen the Orient Express in the 1975 movie Agatha Christie`s Murder on the Orient Express (a Poirot mystery) as well as numerous books, documentaries and even in Get Smart (1960`s TV show) I thought it was about time someone recreated this famous train in Lego and have my two favourite detectives to solve the many crimes, both fictional and real, that have been committed on the Orient Express.

Orient Express Adventures includes:

Dark blue, oil-fueled, steam locomotive (loosely based on Russian P36 locomotive)

Locomotive includes:

Working pistons

Cabin with controls, steering wheel and seat

Lights

Smokestack

Snow Plough

Boiler

Oil Tank Car with access ladder and hatch

Pullman Passenger Car includes:

Opening doors on both sides

Seven dark green seats

Gramophone

Settee lounge

Pullman carriages had seats which could be changed into beds so six of the seats can be swapped for the three included bed builds. They also had concrete floors for extra stability so the three cars have regular Lego train bases in grey underneath to represent this.

Dining Car includes

Opening doors on both sides

Four tables and six dark red chairs

Counter with cash register

Kitchen with stove top and pan

Baggage Car includes

Opening cargo doors on both sides

Emergency brake and balcony

Handcart, broom, crates and passenger luggage details
