The Fokker D.VII, introduced in 1917, was the last and probably the best of the famous Fokker types to see active service in the German air force. By this stage of the war, German aircraft were decorated in a staggering array of colour schemes as per the pilot’s preference. My model represents the aircraft of Willi Gabriel of Jasta 11.
