Genshin Impact: Jade Chamber

Revisit one of the most iconic destinations in the mystical world of Teyvat with this recreation of Genshin Impact's Jade Chamber!

Floating above in the skies of Teyvat...
From the open-world fantasy video game Genshin Impact, this grand palace floats majestically in the skies above the city of Liyue Harbor.
It is the pride and joy of Ningguang, one of the venerable leaders of the Qixing, who govern Liyue to prosperity.
Recreate memorable scenes and experience the construction process of this important landmark that leads up to key events in the game's storyline.

Full-scale model replica
Oriented towards adult fans of Lego and Genshin players alike, this impressive display piece incorporates advanced building techniques to reproduce the palace's profound appearance.
The palace features a floating stone foundation, many stone and wood pathways, and a lily pond with garden surrounding a large decorative tower.
It also includes modularity for interactive play, drawing elements from beloved LEGO set lines such as the modular buildings series.
There was a lot of effort put into recreating the original structure and details of the in-game building with accurate proportions; approximately 1/100 scale, it is about twice as small as minifigure scale.

About the build
Starting from the base, I first tackled getting a solid structure due to the very unique "floating" appearance of the palace; it is very "mid-heavy", requiring particularly strong inner Technic framework to support the weight of the structures.
After establishing the stone base, the main palace chambers and side walls were developed with octagonal and dodecagonal framing to mimic the rounder features of the original architecture.
Additionally, the roof tiles make use of the rare Metallic Gold color to emphasize the extravagance of Teyvat's richest building.

I built this model to help bring the joys of Lego and Genshin Impact to fans of either (or both) alike.
Please enjoy the creation. Hope to someday see it come to life in a real set!
