This is the Octane. The Octane is definitely one of the most, if not the most iconic car in all of Rocket League. This about 17cm long, 9 cm wide and 7cm high model is portrayed in it's classic blue colour and the standard wheels used in the game. The car first released in 2015 along with the game itself and quickly grew into the most popular and used car in rocket league thanks to it's superior hitbox.
When I first started this project (early 2024) it was clear to me that the Octane was the car to build. I was previosly fooling around a bit with a Fortnite battle bus project, but when I had to scrap it, I no longer had a project in mind. Then when the Rocket League x Fortnite collab came, I immediately new what I was gonna do and this time I went all in.
After a few weeks of building after school and between activities the model was finally ready and I couldn't be more happy with the results!
