This is a model of NASA's Parker Solar probe. Launched on August 12, 2018, and reaching the sun on Oct 29, 2018, some of the mission's main goals were to swoop inside the sun's outer atmosphere and get within about 4 million miles from the sun's surface to trace the flow of energy and to study the heating of the sun's outer atmosphere. My build includes 415 pieces and is approximately seven inches long, seven inches wide and approximately five inches tall. The piece count is not high on this build, so if this were to be a set one day, it would not be very expensive. I've tried my best to recreate all the details that the Parker probe has. For some of this build, I used SNOT (studs not on top) but for the majority of it, I used regular building techniques. I used Bricklink studio to make this project.
