Hi Guys
I hope you like my new creation. I've created a medieval House.
Inspiration
My profession is to draw plans of buildings. Therefore it is no surprise that I love architecture.
I especially love medieval architecture.
I saw a documentary of medieval building techniques and so I thought I give myself a try on building something from
this period with LEGO Bricks.
This is what I came with.
What I tried to achieve as accurate as I could was a special building technique they used a few centuries back.
"Jettying". It is a building technique used in medieval timber-frame buildings in which an upper floor projects beyond
the dimensions of the floor below.
I think this would be great as a LEGO-Set because it would be an eye-catcher and a set that was never there before.
I think LEGO bricks are perfect to rebuild houses from this age.
Some facts about the model
- Piece count: 2999 (Limitation of LEGO Ideas :D)
- Minifigs: 2
