I Have Just Recently arrived back from the outer hebrides in Scotland. Whilst I was there I saw this ferry multiple times. I thought it would make a good lego set as the the 2 lego ferrys that have been prevouisly made weren't very good. Set 60119 was very small and set 4997 wasn't able to contain minifigures. The roll on roll off ferry whoever can contain minifigures and is reasonably sized.
The ferry is based off the Calidonian MacBrayne (CalMac) ferry the MV Loch Portain. It contains 1 ferry, 4 minifigures, a truck and a car. The ferry is partially to scale. The ferry is around minifigure scale in most aspects but the length has been shrunk slightly as if it was completley to scale it would be (in my opinion) to big. If you think the ferry should be built entirley to scale notify me in the comments, give me a week and I'll do my best. Thank you!
Some Technical details:
The full set (Ferry, Car, ect..) contains 2107 peices.
The Ferry is 64 studs long.
