Pencil Box

I wanted to build something very special for my Fiancée for her birthday and knowing she is an avid colouring artist, I thought, "She needs Pencils that wont ever run out" 

I came up with the idea to build the box for them with an opening lid, then half way through the process, I thought to myself, why can't it be a split lid? 

The real challenging part was finding 12 colours in the Lego colour palette that included the parts I needed to make it a set, I ended up just making it a set of 10 though to keep it an even number.

I feel this could be a great set for young and old alike as the "playability" is there, not just using it for pencils, but maybe even a keepsake box.
