This design is above all a tribute to Jacques Cousteau, the great defender of the oceans. Many people around the world grew up amazed by his documentaries about marine life. Even if they have ended up dedicating themselves to careers unrelated to maritime life, for many people the name Cousteau brings to mind many things: turquoise waters, exotic aquatic species, mysterious music and the sounds of air bubbles rising to the surface...
With all this, it is inevitable to imagine yourself in diving suits, holding super sophisticated equipment and ready for any underwater adventure!
And, on top of all this, of course, there is a boat. One of incomparable beauty and importance: the research vessel Calypso.
I tried to reflect some of all these emotions, images and beloved childhood references in this set. I hope you like it!
