The Crystal Queen has returned, as powerful as ever!
What is it?
This powerful and terrifying rock monster is the ultimate underground ruler (after the Crystal King, at least). She's very protective of her purple energy crystals, especially since they're extremely rare under the earth's surface. This model fully poseable and is completely built out of physical bricks. However, since the parts don't exists in purple, I had to use photo and video editing software to make the color swap.
Why did I build it?
Power Miners was one of the first themes that got me into LEGO back in 2009. I was always disappointed that they never made a queen rock monster to go along with the Crystal King, so I set out to make one! I built this several years ago, but due to a massive resurge in popularity on YouTube, I decided to resubmit the Crystal Queen as a product idea. This time she has a new crystal staff, I hope you like this addition.
Why would this make a great LEGO set? The Crystal Queen looks pretty cool as an action figure on display, in addition to having play features that spark kids' imagination. These elements could help it to appeal to wide audience. I also believe it would make a great set because the Crystal King was (and still is) a very popular and in-demand character (just look at the aftermarket prices, they're crazy nowadays).
