90s CRT TV With Ejecting VCR

Bringing you back to the 90s with this retro cathode ray tube television set with VHS tape player, and stand. Have your minifigures sit around the old 32" box that dad almost slipped a plate carrying that sucker in. Not only that but with the ejecting VHS player they can watch rented tapes that the last fig forgot to rewind!

The set features an accurate representation of a CRT TV, a questionable taste of lamp and lampshade, a TV stand, and a VHS player that you can actually eject the tape using a non-intrusive play feature. I found inspiration after buying the video tape tile, realising that it had nothing to be put with. I felt that it needed a player that you could put it in and easily remove. After tinkering I was able to create a satisfying TV and a tape player with hidden eject feature.

This, admittedly smaller Lego Idea, is ideal for bringing bath those nostalgic days of Saturday morning cartoons, not only working as a fun display piece, but can be added to any minifig scale MOC that is in need of some retro analogue screen time.
