Ghost Town Gold Mine

Somewhere out West in the desert, an old gold mine lies abandoned. It's been untouched by any living people for years, letting the bats, spiders, and vultures claim it as their own. The old mine track has fallen into disrepair. The prospector's cabin is boarded up and vacant. Tools have been left lying around, although the reason it was abandoned remains unknown, as there is still plenty of gold hidden in its walls.

This is a build of an old gold mine. It is built into a mountain, with sheer rock faces all around. The rock is dotted with dry brush and cacti, which make good roosts for the vultures. On top of the mine is an old prospector's cabin, with a barrel, bottle, and pickax inside and a shotgun next to the door. There is also an old path up the mountain that leads to the cabin. Inside the mine, there is an old mine train track, stalagmites, bats, spiders, and, or course, lots of gold!

I built this set because I really like old western ghost town builds. I thought a gold mine would be a great thing to build because it's a classic part of ghost towns and it looks neat. I think this would make a great set because it captures the Western theme, it's not huge, and it has lots of fun details. Enjoy!
