Kokedama is a houseplant whose roots are wrapped in a ball of moss. Its atypical design makes it possible to sublimate a plant, brings a touch of Zen and elegant decoration to your interior. This plant art of Japanese origin appeared in the early 1990s and is located halfway between Bonsai and Ikebana. In Japanese the word "koke" translates to foam and "dama" to ball.

This LEGO set pays homage to this Japanese art. About 1300 pieces, it is made up of 3 parts: the moss ball, the plants, and the base. The moss ball is made up of 6 parts and is designed to accommodate various plants that can be planted thanks to an ingenious system of 4 supports. I created several models on this principle, we can put plants, flowers, why not a small tree! The possibilities are infinite! The limit is just our imagination!

Some models are almost 23 inches wide x 20 inch long. We can put them on a table, or even quite simply on the ground, which would be the first LEGO set to expose on the ground!
