Your library is your gateway to a world full of mystery, adventure, knowledge, and more. Visit the library today and to get a hold of your favorite novel, periodical, encyclopedia, or other book. Hunker down at the large study table downstairs or grab a comfy sofa in the upstairs lounge. You can even sit outside in the park to fully immerse yourself in your reading surrounded by nature.
Features:
- Main floor has main book selection along with a large study table capable of seating up to 4 minifigures.
- Second floor lounge has a smaller book selection along with plenty of sofas and seating to relax and read. Capable of seating up to 6 minifigures.
- Park area has a bench under a tree along with a bird bath. Additionally the park tree, bench, and bird bath are all moveable (inspired by the Tranquil Gardens set). The park also has a movable book drop-off box that will allow you to place it on either side of the entry way.
- Set comes with 4 minifigures.
- Fully compatible with existing modular building sets. Library baseplate is 32x32, Park baseplate is 16x32.
This build is inspired by the University of Karabuk Library in Karabuk, Turkey and by the Kansas City Public Library in Kansas City, USA. The front facade is meant to resemble book standing on their side, spine facing street-ward, as if they were books on a shelf.
Note for Lego: Since these buildings are in public domain, at least by US law, there is no IP that was needed to be cited. Let me know if it needs to otherwise and I will make corrections as needed.
