This mini ferris wheel is the idea of showing kids how the gears transfer the motion with different directions. I made everything open in this set so kids can observe the movement. When you spin the handle, you rotate the axle in the center and use the 2-90 degree gears to change the direction of movment. In the back of the ferris wheel, we use the chain to bring the motion to the top of the of the ferris and spin the wheel. This is a mini colorful set of ferris and can easily show the kids the basic of the motion transfer idea.
