Pippi Longstocking's Villa Villekula

Why I made this set
In 1997 I had big colorful Duplo bricks and figures to play with. When I grew a little older, those colorful Duplo bricks turned into real Lego bricks to create everything I could ever think of. One of those bricks was a long girl with red hair and pigtails, another was a white horse and I had a monkey... So as you can imagine, I played a lot of Pippi Longstocking stories with those pieces. I created colorful houses, candy stores, pirate boats,.. from the series. These are the first memories I have of playing with LEGO, that's why I'm introducing my new Lego Ideas set based on my childhood and of course the beloved children's book character, Pippi Longstocking!

What's in the set
This set includes Pippi's iconic Villa Villekulla, complete with all of its unique and colorful features.
Builders can recreate scenes from the series or create their own adventures with Pippi, her horse Alfonso and Mr Neilson. The set also includes Tommy and Annika Settergen, Mrs. Prysselius, Thunder-Karlsson, Bloom, Constable Kling, Constable Klang. (custom made prints)

Info
When built, this LEGO® Pippi Longstocking's Villa Villekula set measures over 47 studs high, 40 studs wide and 34 studs deepmaking it a challenging but fun construction kit and a great brick-built model to display. This set is filled with details from the series and books and full of easter eggs you'll recognize immediately. Mr Neilson has his own tiny pink bed, there is a pair of scissors to cut the spaghetti. If the kitchen needs cleaning, Pippi can throw over the water bucket and start watersliding,.. There are also references to other LegoIdeas sets including my own LEGO® Hocus Pocus.
With 1530 pieces, this set is perfect for Lego enthusiasts and Pippi Longstocking fans alike.
This set is a must-have for anyone who loves imaginative play and the world of Pippi Longstocking.

Why would this work
I believe this set can bring back happy memories ( just like it did to me) to all who have seen/read Pippi Longstocking, or the ones who want to share that happiness with their children.
