W.I.T.C.H. is an Italian fantasy Disney comics and animated series. The series features a group of five teenage girls who become the guardians of the classical elements of energy, water, fire, earth, and air, and protectors of the mythical Kandrakar, the center of the universe. The story follows them as they handle their new magical powers and responsibilities, as well as their lives as adolescents.
The main characters are the five current Guardians:
- Wilhelmina "Will" Vandom (energy)
- Irma Lair (water)
- Taranee Cook (fire)
- Cornelia Hale (earth)
- Hay Lin (air)
When the Guardians transform, they change form and grow wings.
I really liked this series as a child, and I enjoyed watching it on Jetix. The charismatic villains, teenage problems and dark fantasy setting were mesmerizing!
Includes:
- "Silver Dragon" - restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine. It is also the place where the W.I.T.C.H. girls received the Heart of Kandrakar and official confirmation of their powers.
- Meridian - capital of Metamoor world. For a long time was isolated from the rest of the universe because it was ruled by the evil prince Phobos. With help of the Guardians and the Meridian people the rightful heiress to the throne, Elyon, could reign again.
