UCS A-wing

Regarding UCS ships the rebel fleet is quite complete. You admired the 10179 Millenium Falcon and the 10240 X-wing (just issued in 2013). You saw the 10134 Y-wing and the 10227 B-wing. But there is one ship missing. One ship which rammed into the bridge of the Executor which therefore itself rammed into Death Star II in the battle of Endor giving an encouraging sign to the rebel forces to go on in their seemingly hopeless fight against the superior imperial fleet. One ship which was for a long time the fastest within the interceptor class. One ship which challenged the most talented of the rebel pilots either in skill or courage: the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor.

Lower the anterior landing gear to take a rest when the ship cannot make it back to its pillar.

See the pilot fixing the alluvial dampers employing a hydrospanner.

Spot all the details making this model a full representative of Lego's UCS edition.

Vote for it to have the A-wing on your shelf either stand alone or filling a long lasting gap among your UCS rebel fleet.

Pieces: 1100
Dimensions: 29cm (length) x 19cm (width) x 11cm (height)
Total height mounted on pillar: 26cm
Scale: 1:33

The model is shaped according to drafts from web sources regarded reputable and authentic to the original movie material (e.g. wookieepedia). Though Lego does not force the UCS models to be in minifigure scale, 10179 Millenium Falcon as the flagship of the series is. Therefore this A-wing is intended to be in minifigure scale, too.
