Barad-dûr is a massive fortress from the legendary trilogy, The Lord of the Rings. It is home of the dark lord Sauron and is located in the dry land of Mordor. The eye of Sauron is located on the top of the highest tower, where it can watch all of Middle Earth in search for the one ring.
“One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.”
I decided to build this model for several reasons. One is that Lord of the Rings was one of the greatest LEGO themes ever, and I truly think it needs to return. Another is that there has never been a set to represent this huge fortress. I hope one day there will be more Lord of the Rings sets and I believe this could be an excellent one!
