Hello everyone,
I’m back with my 4th build and submission for the lego ideas. This time I tried to make a mini scale build, which was fun and very challenging as it turned out. This build clocks in at 1824 pieces, which is quite alot for a small build. However, only 789grams. The dimensions are:
Width: 33 cm / 13 in
Length: 21 cm / 8 in
Height: 18 cm / 7 in
I think the build speaks alot for itself, since there isn’t alot of interier or stuff like that. Which is what is amazing with these mini builds, they show everything and alot of details! I tried to really study the castle alot and keep the levels, terrain, trees, roofs etc accurate. I tried to add some texture as good as I could with stonebrick textured bricks to the foundation, but the rest is too small to do so.
The most tricky part about the build was the cut in the big house where it goes off on a slight angle. Especially the roof. To secure it was easy with hinge bricks. But getting the roof to line up was really hard. I tried to cover the hole with wedge plates, which worked the best from what I could come up with. I think the small 1x1 plates with the printed small window on them works perfectly to illustrate all the windows and levels in the floor.
Overall I think the build turned out very nice, so I upload it here.
Thank you for checking out my project, and maybe even support it! Check out the rest of my submissions if you have time and find this one interesting.
Untill we meet again,
have a nice day,
Tobnac
