My creation is an original chess set. I built it because all of the other lego chess sets out there were too small. I originally made the prototypes from all of our extra pieces and once I had the models down, I ordered the pieces one at a time to finish the set. This is always something I have wanted to do ever since I got back into building with my son. I'm teaching him chess now, slowly and we have an agreement that the first time he beats me, the set is his! This is a chess set and board to be proud of and could serve as a display piece as well as a functional, playable board.
