I build this mono wheel based on 4x4 X Treme set and Rough Terrain Crane set. This is control by smartphone using "tilt" remote system controlling the model using accelerometer from Buwizz application. The main challenge was to have the gravitational centre as low as possible, this why I put the motor on the top and battery above.
I made it very simple and compact as a "little work" that is easy to play with for my small kids.
