The Muppet Christmas Carol

There goes Mr. Humbug, there goes Mr. Grim. If they gave a prize for being mean, the winner would be him.

This set is based on the underrated masterpiece "The Muppet Christmas Carol", honestly one of the best adaptations of the Charles Dickens classic. I thought that this movie would be a great addition to the Lego Muppet theme as it lends itself to many classic scenes and moments. From the office of Scrooge and Marley, Scrooge's bedroom, Scrooge's childhood school, the Cratchit house, and the graveyard with that infamous tombstone; there are plenty of tableaus to recreate in Lego, and different play options for young and old alike. I grew up with this movie and have in turn shared it with my children and it still holds up after all these years.

I honestly could have made a dozen or more scenes from this movie, but I narrowed it down to some of the most iconic set pieces, but I wish there were more Lego Muppets to work with for this set. Bean Bunny, a more Muppety Rizzo the Rat, Robin, etc. would be amazing to see added in if this makes it to that coveted 10,000 supporter mark.

With the success of other 90's themes, like Nightmare Before Christmas, Sonic, Disney, and X-Men; I think there is a real market for this set and others like it.
