In the heart of Puglia region, in the south of Italy, there is a village called Alberobello (in the province of Bari City). This village is known all over the world for its typical conical dry-stone buildings: Trulli. Those were generally built as temporary countryside shelters or permanent farmer houses.
The origins of those buildings are subject to debate still today.
On 6th December 1996, UNESCO declared Trulli on its World Heritage Website.
Those buildings give uniqueness to our region. For this originality and the bonding with my homeland, I decided to dedicate this to the land, a LEGO MOC, inspiring to other official sets that represent famous historical architectures.
