Vintage Rotary Phone

This is my Vintage rotary telephone. I built it because I saw an old picture of my Mom using it at my Great-Grandmother’s house! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to build it and capture the iconic retro details such as the coiled cord and the rotary dial! This build will take you way back in time…1904 to be exact where the commonly known form of the rotary phone with “holes in the finger wheel” was introduced. With my Rotary Phone LEGO build, you will be able to actually put your finger in the holes and dial any phone number you desire.
This would make a great and fun LEGO set! It not only looks like the real vintage phone but it will also feel like this famous classic with every turn of that rotary number dial with your finger. And just like the classic rotary phone -with each turn, the dial automatically returns back to the original state ready for you to dial the next number. One of my favorite details is the realistic coiled phone cord that connects the handset receiver to the base. This LEGO set will not only be fun to build and interact with but also look great in any Retro Decor!
