Narnia - Through the Wardrobe

The magical world of Narnia has been entered by many children through C.S. Lewis's seven book series. I first read it at the age of ten and have never forgotten it. Some may claim Narnia is dead. While it may not be as epic as Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, it is nonetheless alive and well. With such a large selection of stories, there are an almost endless supply of set and minifigure ideas.

The first magical scene I encountered was the lamppost meeting and it has been in my head since. The Pevensie children find themselves in Narnia where they meet fauns, talking beavers, dryads and Father Christmas. The White Witch shows up in all her glory with an evil host. Aslan defeats her through Deeper Magic and eventually with an army of giants, centaurs, and other mythical creatures.
