Villains aren't born to be evil, they were made for evil!
When the villain factory idea was proposed in Hero Factory, we all had thoughts on what villains would come from such a wicked place. Among the rogues gallery was an old one simply known as Rotor, a dim-witted sycophantic flunky of Xplode and minion of Von Nebula. Of course you either got to go big or go to jail when it comes to villainy, and the answer may as well be simple with this one.
Rotor is back! Bigger than ever and ready to take off!
About the Project:
After looking back at Hero Factory and how it fell apart, I looked back at one of the plots that were abandoned in their attempts to blur the lines between constructible-action figures and system bricks and decided to pay tribute to the humble (yet brittle) beginnings of the heroes from the Hero Factory. Giving an old classic villain a massive makeover by bestowing him with an extra large form to surprise the unsuspecting heroes and rise up from being a mere flunky.
About the Model:
After losing his meteor blaster and biohazard gas shooter to the heroes, Rotor XL now boasts two rotary turrets mounted on the top of his backpack for range, dual rotor arms repurposed from broken helicopter tails, and a pair of swords for close combat. As for the dark red base, it was built to proudly display the villain on it as well as to convey their assembly.
Why do you believe in this?
I believe the idea of a Villain Factory to rival the Hero Factory could make for an interesting arms race between good and evil.
