Homage to Amelia Earhart

The model is of a generic bi-plane, similar to that flown by US aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart at the beginning of her career. It is not historically accurate, as I wanted to maintain a cartoonish flavour that would appeal to younger modellers.

The intention of the design it to appeal to those Lego builders who have outgrown the more basic building blocks and wish to move on to more advanced designs, but who are not quite ready for Technic builds.

I hope the simple Lego components, coupled with a few slightly more complex elements, will help youngsters in their Lego journey, from basic building blocks to complex masterpieces!
