If you are a fan of mission impossible, you will love this build! It is a recreation of the underground water vault Ethan hunt dived into to complete a mission. I built this because I am a huge mission impossible fan, and this scene is one of my favorites. I think this will make a good Lego set because the building techniques are really cool, and it is such an iconic scene from the movie.
The build includes a donut shaped vault with many mini vaults inside of it. We see our hero, Ethan hunt trying to break into one of these vaults to help his partner get inside a building. The reason this seen is so crazy is because the entire vault is filled with water and Ethan has to hold his breath for 3 min to get the vault open and reset.
The building Technique I used was sort of the same one that Lego used for the globe set. The pieces are in different shapes so they don't collide and so it can make the correct shape of the vault.
Each vault is blue and uses different pieces to create a cool design, and the red one next to Ethan is the one he's trying to open.
Ethan has a yellow card in his hand that he has to insert into the vault so it can be uploaded to computer so his partner can get in.
I used different angles for the images to get a feel of the build just like in the movie. While he was swimming, you could see his vision change when he was looking around when he started losing oxygen.
Just like the movie, you can change the location and position of Ethan hunt to recreate different scenes. This has always been a fan favorite for many people including myself, so I hope this can work out.
I built this using Meca bricks, it consists of 2654 pieces. The first image is blurry, and I don't know why. When it gets rendered on Meca bricks, it looks perfectly fine, it's not blurry and its crisp, but once it's uploaded to the website, it turns blurry, I don't know why this happens, but the images you get here are probably the best I can get them before they turn blurry. Please still consider.
