The 1x1 slope piece is called a "cheese slope" (yeah, that's the official LEGO name) so of course, the 1x2 sloped grate is commonly called a "cheese grater" (sadly not the official name), but paired together with their bigger parts of the model, they look amazing (in my opinion) it also looks great in your kitchen, and is also a pretty satisfying building experience.
The reason I built it is actually for a cool decoration for your kitchen countertop, maybe placed right next to your real cheese grater and block of cheese, just to confuse people.
