What is it?

This model is a replica of the classic two-door station wagons that were popular during the 1950s and 1960s. These days, station wagons are getting less popular as SUVs and minivans are taking over the market. Even the station wagons that still survive are all with four doors, so this model will let you travel back in time and appreciate all the features and aspects of the model.

Why did I build it?

I designed this station wagon not only because I admire the designs of classic cars, but also to introduce more people to two-door station wagons. While they may seem impractical now, two-door wagons were the stylish alternative to regular four-door models. Fewer doors made them cheaper and gave them a sportier image, which helped them gain popularity.

Why do I believe this would make a great LEGO set?

Whether you like classic cars, station wagons, building LEGO models, or all three, this set would provide a rewarding building experience and result, with each piece adding to the final model. As LEGO doesn’t have a single station wagon set, this would be a perfect addition to the collection.
