Halloween Pumpkin & Jack-O-Lantern

As someone who enjoys free-building, an opportunity to create a unique piece to enter into a pumpkin carving contest was too fun to pass up. I was challenged to build a "life size pumpkin" entirely out of Lego. The result was a first place finish! The question that came out of everyone's mouth? Where can I buy that?!

As someone who enjoys building Lego sets with my kids, I love when a seasonal product comes out and I get the chance to share the enjoyment with them and create new memories. If this were a set - it provides a much more clean alternative to "carving a pumpkin" and is something that can be enjoyed each year when the season hits. The use of translucent Lego pieces for the eyes, nose, and mouth, allows for the pumpkin to really come alive at night and is the perfect addition to any Halloween decor.
