Chain Cube Construction Puzzle

With this construction puzzle you can make over 400 billion different shapes! In the chain, four types of little cubes are used, with the hinges at different sides. The hinges can also rotate, so that each cube has 4 positions towards the cube he is connected with. This makes the puzzle different from all chain puzzles you can buy, because they use only one type of block in the chain.

If you built this set, you can also decide to make the chain in another sequence, or use just one or two type of blocks to make the solution more easy, or more difficult.

In my example I used repeatedly four different types in the same sequence behind each other. For the 3 x 3 x 3 big cube I found four solutions so far, but there must be a lot more!

The size of the big cube is 7 x 7 x 7 cm and the number of parts is about 600 if you use the bricks to fill-up the blocks. Without the bricks, the set only uses Technic parts.
