Shin Godzilla Form 2 (Kamata-Kun)

Introducing my LEGO Shin 2 Kamata Kun!

This is my first Godzilla MOC I’ve ever created. Shin Godzilla 2, also known as ‘Kamata Kun’ (蒲田くん- Japanese name) is the second form of ‘Shin-Godzilla’ from the movie ‘Shin Godzilla (シンゴジラ)’ 2016. Kamata-Kun is an aquatic kaiju but because it's adapted to water and being able to catch up with the enemy quickly, it only has melee attacks, leaving it vulnerable to avian kaiju who can swoop in and take it out gradually at their leisure. Shin Godzilla is an evolving kaiju so Kamata Kun does evolve into a third form, then gradually becomes Shin Godzilla which is its fourth and final form.

I decided to built Kamta Kun out of LEGO because he is a recognisable kaiju in the Godzilla series, despite only appearing in one movie. He is a cute but ‘derpy’ kaiju and I thought he would be a nice if he was in Lego ‘form’.

I hope you will support ‘him’ so he will be on shelves at the Lego store before Godzilla and I hope kaiju fans will buy this set that they’ve been waiting for.
