Gravity Falls - Journal 3

Greetings! Do kids still say "greetings"? I haven't been in this dimension for a really long time, what matters is, I'm here to introduce my latest project, the Journal from the amazing tv series "Gravity Falls".

Gravity Falls is in my eyes and many more, one of the greatest animated television series ever created. Its creator Alex Hirsch and all the team involved in the show, truly made a masterpiece.

The story talks about these two twins, Dipper and Mable Pines spending the summer with their Great Uncle Stan, all in a town where mysteries lurk every corner. A series full of mystery, character development, humor, and all for all, a great storyline.

This book represents the journal Dipper Pines found at the forest in the first episode of the series, the Third Journal.

I've come up with a clean version, and a used one, which is closer to the one from the show. Important to mention that both versions can hold the book mark and the monocle with only a piece change.

This build hides a secret, a control panel in the book's spine, with an opening for a hidden "key" located between the cover, useful to free the one who we were destined to meet again.

I created this design because I believe there is a great opportunity at hand which is to make a collaboration between LEGO and Gravity Falls. Such great ideas of the Mystery Shack have already been published, and I'm here to post my carefully crafted and amazing design from the Iconic Journal of the Iconic Show.

The finished version was achieved after a lot of adjustments and iterations to make the best possible combination of structural strength and visual accuracy. I'm proud of the end design, and I'm also totally open for suggestions, questions, and ideas you may have.

I'll appreciate the support if you're interested in bringing this idea to life. Sharing this idea would be great too, and I hope you have an amazing day.
