When the project reaches 10,000 supporters, LEGO Ideas will review it and decide if it will become a real LEGO set.

Just in case you haven't heard, Invader Zim has returned! Not only in comics, but also a soon-to-be released TV movie! This means there is an even better chance of an Invader Zim LEGO set being released, but this project won't get 10,000 supporters without your help!

This proposal is for LEGO to release a set that is composed of Invader Zim brick-built figures. I believe that this would make a great LEGO set not only for fans of the show/comics/movie, but it would also be a unique building experience and include many unique pieces in rare colors. LEGO Ideas doesn't accept projects that require new molds, so brick-built figures are the best option for making the most accurate figures.

Part count for this set is currently 805 pieces. However, the pig is about 89 pieces and could be eliminated if LEGO wanted to bring the price down. Or maybe these figures could be designed with less parts and then figures of Dib and/or Gaz could be included. My model is just the starting point. LEGO Master builders design the final product.

This Invader Zim project was a labor of love for me. I designed these figures in real life and then I used 3D LEGO building software to render the project in the correct colors. LEGO doesn't currently produce all these parts in the correct colors. Invader Zim has been my favorite cartoon since it premiered in 2001. With the new comics, it is so great to have new stories about our favorite characters. I can't wait for the movie to come out!
