To the scrap yard we go...
it was a valiant effort, but we couldn't make it...
Our time is coming.
within the time of my absence, I don't think I have enough time to to update this any more...so at least we gone somwhere other than staight down. 1.49% and we're close to a one year expiration, A.K.A. A Failure...
Though I am curious on how this got more attention then my other projects. Edit: make that 1.53%
Back to where we start
And so we return back to the amount of time we started. Now we really have to hurry, if we possibly stand a chance.
Not much time left on the clock
only 76 days left and got one more supporter, boosting this to 1.4%. I don't think I'm getting close to the second milestone of a thousand before this expires...at least we got somewhere other than just straight down.
Halloween Update
I hope you're having a happy halloween despite being unable to head outside and go trick or treating. anyway, we've gathered the attention of three more supporters on board, bumping this up to a 1.39%.. i'm glad to see this gathering support, but the hype just hasn't picked up since we reaceh the first milestone. maybe it has something to do with the scrapped (no pun intended) board game aspect? let me explain that.
all six bots were split into 13 body parts.
the first one to fully assemble a robot with all 13 parts of the same color wins. sound familiar? it should as this was gonna be a sequel to Robo Champ. I was also planning to add an optional rule of combining two robots of your choice.
Along with a rule of three where you'd do the same thing (combining) with three robots.
Heck, I was gonna go so far as to combine all SIX if you're really feeling bored!
But I guess it wouldn't work so long as the Board game aspect is not in play, oh well...
Birthday Update!
today's the day! It's my birthday! since this is the only project of mine to last long enough to celebrate it, I figured I would share a bit more of the scrapped Board game aspect.
see this pair of lego dice?
the one with he black and white tiles was meant to depict what you do on your turn.
White wrench: grab a robot part of your color.
Black wrench: roll the color dice, and grab a robot part of the face up color.
White hammer: an opposing player of your choice is forced to scrap a robot part.
Black hammer: you're forced to scrap a robot part.
Parts swap: you must swap parts with another player.
Rainbow: grab a robot part of any color.
anyways, I hope we an keep charting on with support! (same for alpha agents and shogun chess)
Scraps of August
August comes to a close, and i only earned ONE supporter amist all of that. breaking the dry streak, and bumping it up to 1.36%. quite a farcry from a thousand... and to think this was gonna be a board game.
this was gonna be the prize for fully assembling a robot with all 13 of the same colored parts.
such a shame it won't be used in the final product.
A Dry July (final render)
We went through an entire month without a single new supporter? and long after getting one percent of the goal? we were doing so well! granted, we were running low on time when i switched the ldd build for the render, but what about the other five bots joining this? are they not appealing anymore?
well i hope this final bit of render news gets you all excited, because i finally finished off SHMF Blue!
and i'll edit this guy in to finish the Hexa part of the team name.
Another month down. (Render Update
So as another month draw to a close, we got another six supporters on board, bumping this up to a 1.34%. little slow there guys, time doesn't wait for anyone. we may have over 200 days, but that doesn't mean you should slack off.
Anyway, let's get the second last render update out of the way. SHMF Blue got its shoulders and is almost complete!
this next update will be the last render update! prepare yourself for this to be complete!
speaking of complete, SHMF Purple got all 117 parts rendered!
expect me to edit this guy in the project bit by bit...
Coming JUNE! (render update)
The month of may closes up, and in that time, we gathered six whole people who gained interest in this, bumping this up to 1.28% of the goal. only nine more months left, and we're still a far cry from 10%. i still believe in you guys as you made this get the first milestone.
and to get you guys pumped, let's get to the renders! SHMF Green's 97 pieces are all officially rendered!
(i'll try and edit the guy in there too...)
next is SHMF Blue, who might be going last in terms of completely rendering the pieces.
and finally, SHMF Purple who's close to completion!
Next update, this guy will be all patched up!
