Remember playing paper football as a kid? Paper football, also known as finger or flick football, refers to a simple table-top game loosely based on American football. The game used a sheet of paper folded into a triangle which was slid back and forth between two players.
Over the years, I've created various designs out of Lego. Now, I want to share my favorite with you!
Relive the nostalgia with this updated classic. NFL Finger Flick Football makes a great gift for yourself or any NFL fan! Not only is it a unique and wonderful display piece, but its also a fun gaming experience with easy rules and a ton of replay value.
The Field
- Large, beautifully stylized and detailed version of a Pro Bowl themed NFL football field.
- Entirely brick-built, put together sideways with a number of stud not on top (SNOT) techniques promising a fun and unique building experience.
- Sturdy design for stress-free play and move.
The Rules
- Each player gets four attempts (downs) to score.
- Elect to kick a field goal from the closest kick spot, or score a touchdown by getting the football entirely into the end zone without touching any of the white sidelines.
- Your turn is over if you can't score in four downs, if you get intercepted, or if the ball slides out of bounds on any down (off the board or touching any of the white sidelines).
Enhanced Play Features
- Let's go defense... Place a defender or two on your side of the field dialing up the pressure on your opponent's offense.
- Picked off... When playing offense, land on a dark green area and its an interception; your turn is over.
- It's good... Split the uprights going for extra points and field goals using the kick spots; just place, aim, and flick!
