Why did I build this?
Originally built for the Lego Ideas challenge “celebrating Japanese culture” I decided to build a 1:1 replica of a bowl of ramen noodles. Coming in at around 22cm/8.5inches wide and 11cm/4inches tall, with over 1200pieces. I decided to build a Ramen dish because I love making life sized builds out of Lego and food being my favourite to recreate, I figured building a Ramen Moc was a no brainer, because it’s just such an iconic dish. Building it out of Lego was a lot of fun, so many ingredients with lots of different building techniques and a wide variety of colours used to make the build really stand out.

Why should you support this?
Personally I believe it makes for a really great display piece. I have a lot of Lego sets and Mocs scattered around in my room and currently have my Ramen seated nicely on my desk, as it’s just so colourful and pleasing to look at. The fact that it’s life size from a far makes it look almost indistinguishable from a real bowl of Ramen noodles, making it an awesome set to show friends and family.
