The Temple of Cupid and Psyche is inspired by the famous Italian sculptor Antonio Canova. The Italian sculptor created various versions of the sculptural group based on the Greek tale of Cupid and Psyche: "Psyche revived by Cupid's kiss" and "Cupid and Psyche". In 1800 it was in use in the English gardens build a temple in which statues were placed. This project combines the wonder of neoclassical temple of the English garden to the poetic beauty of the Canova sculpture.

Inside the temple you can put two-colored marble minifigures and change them with the other two colored. In the set there are 4 minifigures, 2 marble and 2 colorful color, with interchangeable hair and accessories to transform them in a choice of two sculptural groups.

The sculptural group over a column is connected to a crank mechanism that allows to make turn of the sculpture itself. The temple has eight Ionic columns and a clear plastic roof that simulates the green glass with an eagle on top.

The presented set consists of 744 number of bricks.

The temple is designed to introduce children to the beauty of art through play.

If you love art and its wonder please support my project to see built this temple dedicated to love and art.

This project is realised by Alessia Delvecchio
