Solar Impulse 2 Airplane

The solar impulse 2 airplane is the second version of the solar impulse founded by André Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard. The plane was made between 2012 and 2013, cost 155.000.000€ and went around the world on July 2015 and finished the tour in July 2016 only using green technology with batteries and solar panel. this was a huge event and a historic flight. This is real progress for the future of humanity and technology. This build is a representation of the Solar Impulse 2.

The set includes the solar impulse airplane and a display. The cockpit can only contain, like the real one, one pilot. There's the Minifigures of the two pilots of the world tour; André Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard. The plane is pretty huge, the wing span is 117,4 cm (46,2 inch) long and the length is 52,5 cm (20,66 inch). The plane is only 15,3 cm (6inch) high.
