Not all space battles are fought by humans or aliens. This noble and brave group of robotic fighters dares missions that no one in their right mind would accept.
Yes: some people say that their heads have lost some nut... And it is true! Life is hard and absurd in the Robot Strike Force.
Group members (from left to right in second image):
- Sven-7: This pink destruction machine enjoys propelling himself into the sky with his turbo-backpack and dropping among his enemies. Ranged attacks are not for him: he prefers the warmth of close contact.
- Daisy Jaws: Daisy worked crushing old cars with her powerful jaws. But one day she become wearing of routine and decided to get pretty and seek glory on the battlefield. Now crush tanks.
- Commander Z: The self-proclaimed leader of the group never goes to fight without his command staff and blue plastic mustache. The others let him think he's the boss because they like him, and because he attracts enemy fire.
- Stone Thrower: Yeah; It's true that its self-guided cannon can vaporize targets for miles. But Stone Thrower believes that this has no merit, and whenever possible he prefers to fight with his reliable slingshot.
- Bob the Box: Bob used to be a deliverybot, but he became a soldier because he likes the sound of explosions. Now he continues to deliver to his companions everything they need, be it ammunition or repair kits. If necessary, he also deliver slaps.
About the design:
Robots are present in many space sets, but only as a complement. Personally I think they deserve their own set like this. Not only is it pretty and fun to build (or so I hope!), but all kinds of stories can be told with it.
"Attack! Agh, my arm! Bob, bring me another arm!"
