The Polar Express

"All aboard! This is the Polar Express!"

Here it is, my friends. The classic Christmas train that takes you to your favorite wintertime destination: the Polar Express! I know I'm not the first person to submit this train, and I certainly won't be the last, but I wanted to dip my foot in the LEGO tub - if you know what I mean. This is a classic for me, and I wanted to do my best to recreate it in LEGO. It took me almost a year to get the design finalized, but I am very happy with the final product and I hope you are too!

Each section of the train has authentic details from the movie.

The Engine has the brake lever, a detailed furnace, and gauges for the engineers.

The Passenger Car has 20 seats, a velvet carpeted middle row, two interior doors, and four exterior doors.

The Observation Car has 24 seats with drawers and lamps, a velveted middle row, and a curved observation deck.

The model is built to scale with the classic train track elements, so you can place the train on any train layouts you have. It would definitely dwarf any trains around it, though, as it is almost five feet long.
