Coraline: The Pink Palace

After the first version of the “Pink Palace” I submitted to IDEAS was rejected, I'm back with a completely reworked version, complete with a wealth of detail, exciting building techniques and lots of Easter Eggs.

I have always been fascinated by the movie Coraline and also by the Pink Palace, the house that serves as a home for the Jones family in the movie.

In the most detailed version of the house to date, not only does it have a facade true to the movie, but the interiors are also fully equipped. You will find the family's kitchen, with dining table and lots of shelves. Next to it is the living room, with the fireplace on which the snow globes stand and the mysterious door just opposite, in front of which Coraline has placed small pieces of cheese to attract the mice she has been watching at night.

There is a water boiler in the tower room next to the entrance. If you turn off the light switch, the electricity in the house goes out. The father on the upper floor is particularly bothered by this, as he has his office there, equipped with a printer, a computer and a piano.

In the attic is the apartment of the other tenant of the Pink Palace, who has set up his mouse circus here.

If, like me, you would like to see this set on the shelves one day, I would be delighted if you would support this design. Thank you very much!
